Honey Garlic Little Smokies
Description
This recipe features beef franks simmered in a homemade sauce combining ketchup for sweetness and tang, brown sugar for deeper sweetness, fresh garlic, honey, and soy sauce for umami, with fresh ginger adding warmth and sriracha for a mild kick. Sesame oil contributes a subtle toasted note. The franks are heated until thoroughly warmed and plump with the sauce, absorbing intense honey garlic flavors. The dish is served garnished with toasted sesame seeds and chopped cilantro, offering fresh herbal contrast and a slight crunch. The slow simmer allows the sauce to thicken, coating the franks evenly.
