Description
This recipe prepares Honey Saffron Milk by simmering semi-skimmed milk with split cardamom pods and saffron threads over low heat, allowing the flavors to infuse for five minutes. Adding honey after heating lends a gentle sweetness without overpowering the fragrant spices.

Ingredients
- 500 ml (2 cups) milk semi-skimmed
- 4 cardamom pods split
- 0.25 tsp saffron threads or more to your taste
- 2 tsp honey
Instructions
- Put the milk, cardamom pods and saffron threads into a pot over low hit and bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and simmer for 5 mins. Then switch off the heat.
- Stir in the honey and let milk cool a little bit before serving.
- Top with a few saffron strands, a few pistachio nuts and some rose petals.
