Irish Lemonade Recipe
Description
The Irish Lemonade Recipe mixes 2 oz of whiskey, sweetened with simple syrup and combined with lemonade to offer a citrus base. Shaking these ingredients with ice chills and dilutes the mixture evenly. Topping with club soda or ginger beer adds light bubbles that enhance refreshment.
The cocktail’s flavor balances the warmth and depth of the whiskey with the tangy citrus of the lemonade and sweetness from the syrup. Fresh garnishes contribute aroma and styling that elevate the glass.
This drink is served tall over ice and can be prepared in advance without the club soda to preserve carbonation until serving. Store the mixed base, strained from ice, in a sealed container refrigerated for up to two weeks.

- 2 oz whiskey brand Jameson
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 6 oz lemonade I used Zero Sugar Minute Maid
- 3 oz club soda or ginger beer, lemon
