This popular chocolate snack mix inspired by Trader Joe's Jingle Jangle Holiday Mix is perfect for chocolate lovers. It is the best salty and sweet mix and is the perfect holiday treat to give to neighbors, friends, and family. You won't be able to stop eating it!

Ingredients
- 8 ounces mini pretzels (half of 16-ounce bag)
- 8 ounces caramel corn
- 8 Oreo Cookies or Peppermint Jo Jo's or Oreos (broken in half or fourths)
- 4 ounces Mini Peanut Butter Cups *
- 1 cup Holiday M & M's
- 10 to 16 ounces Chocolate or Ghirardelli Melting Wafers (see notes)
- 4 ounces white chocolate melting wafers

Instructions
- Place the pretzels, caramel corn, and Oreos in 3 different bowls. Melt the chocolate until smooth and silky. You can use milk, semi-sweet, or dark chocolate. If you are using chocolate chips or chocolate bars, you can add 1 teaspoon of oil to make it shiny. Melt the chocolate in the microwave at 50% power in 30-second increments, stirring after each cooking time until melted.
- Toss the chocolate with the pretzels, caramel corn, and Oreos. Make sure that the chocolate coats each pretzel, caramel corn, and cookie. Melt more chocolate as needed. Place on parchment paper to set up.
- Melt white chocolate in a bowl. Take a spoon and lightly drizzle over the pretzels and caramel corn.
- Once the chocolate has set up, toss all the ingredients in a bowl and add mini peanut butter cups and holiday M & M's.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature to keep fresh.

- If you want to make it even easier to make this chocolate Christmas mix, here are some tips:
- What chocolate should I use?
- The easiest chocolate to use when dipping anything into melted chocolate is the Ghiradelli Melting Wafers. Since they are made specifically for melting, the chocolate turns out silky smooth.
- You can also use chocolate bars or chocolate chips. I suggest adding 1 teaspoon of oil and cooking at 50% power in the microwave to ensure it doesn't burn.
- Substitutions and Variations:
- Choose your favorite type of chocolate to use in this chocolate snack mix.
- The Trader Joe's Jingle Jangle Mix mainly uses dark chocolate but feel free to use milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate. I like to mix milk chocolate and dark chocolate wafers to make a slightly sweeter mix.
- You can use your favorite type of cookies. Trader Joe's carries a peppermint chocolate sandwich cookie but you can use classic Oreos or any type of holiday cookie.
- Ghirardelli Melting Wafers -- Milk, Dark, White. If you want, you can only use one type of chocolate.
- Snyder's mini pretzels
- Caramel Corn (Favorite Day from Target)
- Oreo Cookies and Trader Joe's Jo Jo's
- Reese's mini unwrapped peanut butter cups
- Holiday M & M's
- Buy pre-dipped chocolate covered pretzels. There are so many brands -- Flipz, Hershey's, Snyder's, etc. I would suggest buying several bags to make this mix.
- Buy pre-dipped chocolate covered caramel corn. I found the Zebra mix at Costco, which isn't completely covered in chocolate but it is a great price and makes this so easy.
