Ingredients

Servings
  • 8 sheets filo dough
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Serve with

  • Qaymer (clotted cream)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (180˚C).
  2. Brush each sheet of filo dough with butter and stack 4 by 4.
  3. Fold each stack 2 or 3 times to create a rectangle about 3x2 inches (7x4 cm).
  4. Brush with butter and place on a baking sheet, lightly greased or lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown .
  6. Remove from the oven.
  7. Sprinkle generously with hot and warm honey and serve with qaymer (clotted cream).
