Lemon Balsamic Dressing Recipe

This lemon balsamic vinaigrette dressing recipe is made with just a few simple ingredients and ready in less than 5 minutes. Make this salad dressing to drizzle on salads, use as a dipping sauce or even marinade meat in it.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic peeled and minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Place balsamic vinegar, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Give it a whisk.
  2. While still whisking, slowly add in the extra-virgin olive oil and continue whisking until fully incorporated and smooth.
  3. Transfer it to a bottle or jar with a fitted lid. Be sure to give it a good shake before using.

Notes

  • This recipe makes 2/3 cup of Lemon Balsamic Dressing. The calorie information below considers it to be good for 4 servings.
  • To store: Place in the fridge in an airtight container like a mason jar or a bottle with a tight fitting lid.
  • Swap lemons with Meyer lemons for a little bit sweeter dressing.
  • I used Diamond Kosher salt but you can also use sea salt. If you do so, use 1/2 teaspoon sea salt.
  • Before using it in your recipe be sure to give it a taste and add in seasoning if necessary.
