Litchi Juice (Lychee Juice)
Description
Litchi Juice (Lychee Juice) uses peeled and pitted fresh lychees blended to a smooth puree. Sometimes a small amount of water is added during blending to aid smoothness. The puree retains some small bits of fruit for a natural texture. Mixing the puree with room temperature or cold water, raw or white sugar, and freshly squeezed lemon juice balances sweetness and acidity, creating a bright, fruity drink.
The juice can be served immediately poured over ice cubes and garnished with optional fresh mint leaves or lemon slices to enhance freshness and appearance. The lemon juice adds a tang that complements the lychee's natural sweetness but can be omitted for a milder flavor. Using cold water or refrigerating the juice before serving keeps it cool without needing large quantities of ice.
Adjust sugar to taste depending on the sweetness of the lychees used and personal preference. The juice is best made with ripe, juicy lychees for optimal flavor.
