Mississippi Lil Smokies
Report
Cocktail sausages are alway a fun and easy appetizer, especially when they're coated in a savory sauce. We took the classic "Mississippi" seasoning combo and put it to work in this savory appetizer recipe!

Instructions
- Add the sausage to the slow cooker.
- Whisk together the gravy, ranch seasoning, and juice from the pepperoncini. Pour over the sausages and top with the peppers.
- Stir to combine and then cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Serve with toothpicks as an appetizer.
Notes
- We use a 2 quart small slow cooker and it’s the perfect size for this recipe. You can use a larger slow cooker as well.
- Be sure to look for ranch seasoning mix and not ranch dip mix. The dip is much saltier and you'll notice it in the finished product.
- As an appetizer, the Lil Smokies sausages are perfect. We also make this as a meal and slice kielbasa into 1 inch chunks to use in this recipe. They’re delicious over mashed potatoes, rice, or buttered noodles.
