No Bake Peanut Butter Pie (6 Ingredients)

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie features a rich, creamy peanut butter filling combined with cream cheese and whipped heavy cream poured into a chocolate Oreo cookie crust. The filling is fluffy yet dense and smooth, balanced by the crunchy chocolate crust. This easy dessert sets in the fridge without baking and can be garnished with chocolate chips, crushed Oreos, or sauce for added texture and flavor contrast.

Description

Beginning with a crust made from finely crushed Oreo cookies mixed with melted butter, the crust is pressed into a pie dish and chilled to firm up. The filling is made by beating cream cheese, smooth peanut butter, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Separately, heavy cream is whipped with a bit of powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, then gently folded into the peanut butter mixture to create a smooth, airy filling.

After pouring the filling into the chilled crust, the pie is refrigerated for at least six hours or overnight to set fully. This firming allows the flavors to meld and the pie to hold its shape when sliced. Toppings like chocolate chips, crushed Oreos, or chocolate sauce offer complementary textures and enhance presentation. The pie slices into rich yet creamy portions.

This dessert is especially convenient as it requires no baking and can be prepared ahead of time. The rich peanut butter flavor is balanced by cream cheese and sweetened whipped cream, making it a luscious and smooth option for peanut butter lovers. Substitutions like speculoos spread can be used for peanut allergy considerations.

Ingredients

Servings

For the Oreo Crust

  • 28 Oreo cookies about 36 Oreos, whole
  • 7 tbsp butter melted

For the Peanut Butter Pie filing:

  • 225 g cream cheese 8 oz
  • 250 g peanut butter smooth
  • 100 g powdered sugar icing sugar, divided
  • 240 ml heavy cream double cream

Toppings:

  • chocolate chips
  • Oreo cookies crushed
  • chocolate sauce

Instructions

Make the Oreo Pie Crust:

  1. Finely crush the Oreos in a food processor, or in a Ziploc bag using a rolling pin. Finer crushed cookies mean a crust that stick better.
  2. Add the crushed Oreos into a bowl along with the melted butter and mix.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a 23cm / 9 inch pie dish and press into the bottom and sides of a dish.

For No Bake Pie Crust - Freeze crust for 15 mins or refrigerate for at least 30 mins until it is set.

  1. Optional For a baked pie crust - Bake at 180C / 350F / gas 4 for 10 mins. This will give you a crunchier crust. Let it cool before you continue with your recipe
  2. Make the Peanut Butter Pie Filling:
  3. Beat the cream cheese, peanut butter and icing sugar into a bowl using a hand held electric mixer until combined and light and fluffy
  4. Add cream to another bowl plus the remaining 1 tbsp of icing sugar and using a hand held mixer whip the cream till it forms stiff peaks.
  5. Carefully, fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mix until combined.

Assemble the No Bake Peanut Butter Pie:

  1. Then add this filling to the prepared Oreo pie crust and smooth.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours but preferably overnight or freeze for 1 hr.
  3. Then top with extra crushed Oreos, chocolate chips and chocolate sauce, if using and serve

Notes

  • Crush Oreos finely for a crust that binds well, and chill before filling to set properly.
  • The pie needs to chill at least 6 hours, preferably overnight, for best texture; freezing for 1 hour is a faster alternative.
  • This pie is rich—serve smaller portions to balance richness.
  • Chocolate chips, crushed Oreos, or chocolate sauce make good toppings for added texture and appearance.
  • Use speculoos spread instead of peanut butter for a peanut-free variation.
  • Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator and consume within 2-3 days for best freshness.
