Notes

  • *Please note that the amount of calories per serve is provided as a guide only, as ingredients and cooking methods can vary greatly*
  • If you don't have a baking tin/pan the right size - no worries! A bit bigger is fine, the bars will just be a little thinner. Don't rule out things like Tupperware/plastic ware for setting your slice in either - because it's no bake the usual rules don't apply!
  • When melting your chocolate in the microwave, always stir it every 30 seconds (it tends to hold it's shape as it heats - it can be deceptive!) with a clean metal spoon. These tips help stop your chocolate from seizing as you melt it.
  • I also find when melting chocolate in the microwave that "less is more". If some of the chocolate hasn't quite melted, once you give it a bit more of a stir it tends to melt in.
  • We are adding vegetable oil to the chocolate for the topping to make it easier to cut. You could substitute coconut oil for the vegetable oil or leave it out altogether if you like.
