This simple orange poppy seed bundt cake recipe is made with fresh orange juice, poppy seeds, and covered with a sweet orange glaze. Soft, tender and moist this old-fashioned orange bundt cake makes the perfect weekend treat for the whole family.

Ingredients
- ORANGE POPPY SEED CAKE BATTER
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1/4 cup poppy seeds
- 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- IORANGE GLAZE
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a large bundt cake pan. Alternatively, you can grease two 9×4 inch loaf cake pans.
- Mix together all cake ingredients in a large bowl using an electric mixer for 3 to 4 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Pour the batter into the bundt cake pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Prepare The Orange Glaze: Mix together the orange juice, sugar, vanilla, and almond extract.
- Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool for 5 minutes in the cake. Remove the orange glaze.
- Allow the cake to cool for 30 minutes before slicing.
