Super easy, juicy, roasted strawberries can be used in a variety of ways! A very versatile recipe and a delicious way to make your summer strawberries last long! EASY - This is an easy recipe. While this recipe can be used on its own, these roasted strawberries can be an ingredient in other recipes too.US based cup, teaspoon, tablespoon measurements. Common Measurement Conversions. Weight measurements are recommended for accurate results.

Ingredients
- 450 g strawberries stems removed
- 3 tbsp white sugar or honey or maple syrup
- Generous pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or balsamic vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F / 204°C.
- Wash and dry the strawberries, and cut them in half (in quarters if they are bigger).
- Place them in a bowl, and add the white sugar, salt, and lemon juice. Mix to combine.
- Evenly spread the strawberries out in a quarter sheet pan (9 x 13 inch pan) or half sheet pan (will be more spread out).
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 - 40 minutes (25 for firmer strawberries, and 40 minutes for very soft strawberries).
- Remove from the oven, and stir the vanilla extract in with the hot strawberry mix.
- Let the roasted strawberries cool to room temperature in the baking dish.
- Transfer the strawberries and the syrup into an airtight jar or container and store in the fridge for up to 1 week, or 2 months in the freezer.
Notes
- You can add ½ tsp cracked black pepper for a lovely spicy kick.
- Add 1 tsp of rose water extract or orange blossom extract for a floral note.
