Peanut Butter Cheerio Bars

With just 3 ingredients and about 5 minutes of hands on time, these peanut butter cereal bars will quickly become a go to treat! Made with wholesome Cheerios, honey, and peanut butter for a fun treat!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Honey Nut Cheerios
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Add the honey and peanut butter to a large pot over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture is well combined and just beginning to bubble around the edges.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the cereal to coat.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish and use a piece of wax paper to press the mixture flat.
  4. Let cool for 1-2 hours in the fridge to set.
  5. Slice into bars and serve.

Notes

  • We prefer these with Honey Nut Cheerios, but you can use any variety that you like. 
  • Be sure to use the processed, no-stir style of peanut butter. All natural peanut butter that separates will likely not work well in this recipe.
