Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pie crust (or homemade)
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups pecans, chopped
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the heavy cream, eggs, and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Prepare the Pecan Topping: In a separate bowl, mix the chopped pecans, maple syrup, corn syrup, melted butter, and salt. Stir until the mixture is evenly combined.
- Assemble the Pie: Pour the cream cheese filling into the pre-made pie crust. Then, top with the pecan mixture, spreading it evenly over the cheesecake layer.
- Bake the Pie: Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the pie is set and the pecan topping is golden brown. If necessary, cover the edges of the crust with foil to prevent burning.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the pie to cool completely on a wire rack before transferring to the refrigerator. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Make Ahead: Pecan Cheesecake Pie can be made ahead. Keep it stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Customizing the Flavor: For a richer flavor, substitute the heavy cream with sour cream. Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for a warm spice twist.
- Serving Suggestions: Serve this decadent pie with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's perfect for the holidays or a special occasion!
- Storage Tips: Keep leftovers in the fridge in a sealed container. If storing for longer, wrap the pie tightly and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge before serving.
