Ingredients

Servings

For a Batch of 6 Shots:

  • 6 ounces pineapple juice 177mL
  • 6 ounces vanilla vodka 177mL
  • 1 ounce grenadine divided
  • maraschino cherries optional garnish

For a Single Shot:

  • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce vanilla vodka
  • ounce grenadine
  • 1 maraschino cherry optional garnish

Instructions

To make a batch of 6 shots:

  1. Mix the vanilla vodka and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker and shake to combine.
  2. Pour the mixture equally into 6 shot glasses.
  3. Use a cocktail spoon to carefully pour ⅙ ounce grenadine down the side of each shot glass.
  4. Garnish each shot with a maraschino cherry, if you prefer, before serving.

To make a single shot:

  1. Pour the vanilla vodka and pineapple juice into a shot glass.
  2. Use a cocktail spoon to carefully pour ⅙ ounce grenadine down the side of the shot glass.
  3. If you like, garnish the shot and then serve.

Notes

  • Do use a high-quality vodka. Using cheap vodka will result in a not as nice tasting shooter.
  • You can easily add more or less of all the ingredients depending on how weak or strong you prefer your drinks.
  • If you shake this with ice in the cocktail shaker, bubbles could form, changing the appearance of the shot. I prefer to keep the ingredients chilled and skip the ice.
  • Use a spoon to carefully add in the grenadine to reduce discoloration.
  • If you don’t have a cocktail spoon, just tilt each shot glass and carefully pour the grenadine down the side. Let it settle at the bottom for 2 minutes.
  • Using a jigger to pour will make your life much easier.
  • These shots are best served chilled.
  • Storage - You can keep the batch refrigerated for up to 3 days.
  • Friends, these colorful and sweet drinks go down easily, so please make sure to drink responsibly and be mindful of your consumption.
  • There are 3 WW Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving.
