Poultry Seasoning

This Poultry Seasoning blend combines ground sage, thyme, marjoram, rosemary, paprika, and several additional spices to create a versatile herbal powder. It's designed to complement chicken, turkey, and other poultry dishes, offering a complex mix of savory, earthy, and slightly smoky notes. The mixture is ground finely for easy incorporation into marinades, rubs, or seasoning mixes.

Description

The Poultry Seasoning consists of measured amounts of ground sage, dried thyme, marjoram, rosemary, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, black and white pepper, nutmeg, and dried lemon peel. These herbs and spices combine to create a balanced seasoning with herbal, warm, and slightly sharp flavors. Grinding all ingredients into a fine powder ensures consistent seasoning and easy blending into dishes.

This blend is intended to be stored in a cool, dark place within a sealed glass jar to maintain its aroma and potency. It is best used within a month for optimal flavor but can be kept for several months. This seasoning is typically added to poultry recipes to enhance depth and complexity without overpowering the natural meat flavor.
