Ingredients
- coarse salt for rimming glasses
- 1.5 oz blanco tequila chilled
- 2 oz lime juice freshly squeezed
- ½ oz triple sec
- 4 oz prosecco chilled
- ½ teaspoon agave syrup
- lime slices for serving
Instructions
- squeeze limes for juice, and set aside
- cover a small plate with the coarse salt
- moisten the rim of a glass with squeezed lime, turn upside down on the salt-covered plate and turn until the rim of the glass is coated in salt
- In an ice filled cocktail shaker, put the tequila, lime juice, and Triple Sec. Shake vigorously until the shaker is cold.
- Pour into prepared glass, and top up with chilled Prosecco
- Garnish with lime slices and serve.
Notes
- Agave syrup is easy to find, but not commonly stocked in most kitchens. You can substitute a ½ teaspoon of sugar, honey or any other sweetener. You can also try this drink with no added sweetener, in the classic way.
