Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll Bake

Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll Bake features cut pieces of canned pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls immersed in a spiced custard blend of pumpkin, eggs, brown sugar, and evaporated milk. Chopped pecans on top add texture, and icing drizzled after baking completes this autumn-inspired sweet casserole with layers of pumpkin flavor and cinnamon roll sweetness baked together.

Description

This Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll Bake starts with pre-packaged pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls cut into pieces and placed in a greased baking dish. A mixture of eggs, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, and evaporated milk is whisked into a smooth custard and poured evenly over the dough. Chopped pecans sprinkled on top provide a crunchy contrast.

Baked initially at 375°F for 30 minutes and then covered with foil for an additional 10 minutes, the dish cooks until the custard is set and the dough is tender. The pecans toast slightly on top during baking. After cooling slightly, the ready-to-use icing from the cinnamon roll packages is evenly drizzled across the surface for sweetness and moisture.

This casserole serves as a seasonal dessert or special breakfast treat combining traditional pumpkin spice flavors with the convenience of canned cinnamon roll dough. It works well served warm and is visually appealing with icing and nuts.
