Ingredients

Servings

For dough

  • 125 g butter
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tbsp gruyere cheese grated
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

For topping:

  • 250 g ham cooked
  • 100 g ham raw
  • 3 onion large
  • 1 bundle parsley chopped
  • 1 bundle spring onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 egg
  • 200 g gruyere cheese
  • 200 g cream
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Instructions

For dough

  1. Knead the butter with flour. Add 3 spoons of cold water, cheese, garlic salt and pepper. Mix them all together.
  2. Leave the mixture to rest for 1 hour in a cold place.

For topping

  1. Cut ham and onions into cubes, chop herbs, crash garic using a press, put it all in the bowl.
  2. In the seperate bowl whisk the eggs, cheese and cream. Add salt & pepper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Baking

  1. Press the dough into the bottom and up the sides (3cm height) of the tart pan with your hands. Put it in the oven for 10 minutes.
  2. Change the temperature of the oven to 250°C.
  3. Take the dough out from the oven, spread the ham and then pour the egg mixture over it.
  4. Bake for 1 hour.
