Quick, easy and tasty, this Salmon Cheese Ball Appetizer has a kick of horseradish and is loaded with healthy, omega-3s.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 16 ounces salmon skin and bones removed, canned
  • 8 ounces cream cheese reduced fat
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish or a bit more to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon onion dried minced
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice optional but recommended
  • ½ teaspoon salt optional, to taste
  • 1 green onion about 5-6, bunch

Instructions

  1. Beat together until smooth all ingredients except the green onion.
  2. Form into a cheese ball shape.
  3. Slice the green onions and press into the salmon cheese ball.
  4. Serve with crackers.
