  • 4 cups boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

Shredded Chicken Tacos

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup chunky salsa, or salsa verde
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth, more if needed
  • flour tortillas
  • 1 lime, juiced

Shredded Chicken (Cooked 4 ways)

  1. Boiled Chicken
  2. Instant Pot Shredded Chicken
  3. Instant Pot Frozen Chicken
  4. Rotisserie Chicken (storebought)

Shredded Chicken Tacos

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Add the garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Add the shredded chicken, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, and salt. Cook for 1 more minute.
  3. Stir the salsa, chicken broth, and the juice of one lime into the chicken mixture.
  4. Stir and heat through for about 5 minutes.
  5. Season with additional salt if needed.
  6. Serve in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
