Ingredients
For the Pasta Salad:
- 8 ounces macaroni noodles
- 3 stalks celery finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper finely chopped
- 1/2 small yellow onion chopped
- 2 cups small shrimp cooked
For the Dressing:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta based on the package instructions to al dente. Drain and rinse with cool water. Then place in a large mixing bowl.
- Gently stir in the celery, bell pepper, onion and shrimp. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients until well combined.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta salad ingredients and stir until all the ingredients are well coated with the dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and then serve cold.
