Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound Shrimp , peeled and deveined
  • 2 teaspoons ginger , minced
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 2 carrots , thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Add the water, ketchup, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, crushed red pepper and sesame oil together in a small bowl and whisk.
  2. Add the vegetable oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat and add in the shrimp, ginger and garlic, cooking on each side for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add in the broccoli and carrots and the sauce, stir and cover for 3 minutes until the broccoli and carrots are tender and the sauce is thickened.
