Shrimp with Chipotle-Bourbon Butter Sauce Recipe

Try it once and you’ll forever crave this recipe with shrimp cooked in a silky, tangy sauce made with chipotles in adobo, bourbon, butter and garlic.

Ingredients
- 1 can chipotle peppers in adobo 7 ounces
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- ½ stick unsalted butter
- 1-1/2 ounces bourbon
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 pound Shrimp peeled and deveined
Instructions
- Add Chipotle Peppers in Adobo and garlic to a food processor and process until smooth.
- Heat a medium sized pan to medium heat and add butter. Let it melt.
- Pour in garlic-chipotle sauce, bourbon and honey. Simmer for 15 minutes to let the flavors develop.
- Stir in the shrimp and simmer another 10-15 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through and have a bit of a snap to them.
- Serve as you wish, over rice, with tortillas, or as they are for a perfect appetizer.
