Ingredients
- 1 tube pizza dough
Filling
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened, 1 package
- 4 lices Bacon cooked, crumbled
- 1 small red onion diced (about ½ cup
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper seeded and diced
- 2 teaspoons Chives, minced
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 2 cups White Cheddar Cheese shredded, divided, 226 g
Topping
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper sliced into 8 rounds
- ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded, sharp, 57 g
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 12-inch skillet with cooking spray.
- Roll the dough into a 10×15-inch rectangle.
Filling
- In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, crumbled bacon, onion, jalapeno, chives, and garlic until smooth.
Assembly
- Spread the cream cheese filling mixture over the rolled-out dough. Top the mixture with 1 ½ cups white cheddar cheese.
- Roll the dough up tightly, starting on the long edge.
- Using a very sharp knife, cut the log into 8 rolls. Place them into the greased skillet.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, top each roll with a jalapeno slice. Then top with the remaining white cheddar and sharp cheddar cheese.
- Place the rolls back into the oven to bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until golden.
- Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes.
