Spicy Sausage Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork sausage 16 ounces, mild, medium, or hot
  • 1 diced tomatoes with mild green chilies 10 ounce can, undrained
  • 16 ounces cream cheese room temperature
  • hot sauce to taste (Cholula, Frank’s RedHot, Sriracha, etc, of your choice

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until evenly browned and no longer pink. Drain if needed.
  2. Reduce heat to low, and stir in the tomatoes and cream cheese until melted and evenly blended.
  3. Add hot sauce to taste and cook just until heated through. Serve warm.

Slow cooker instructions:

  1. Place the cooked sausage, cream cheese, tomatoes, and hot sauce in a small crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until melted and warmed through.

Notes

  • Makes about 4 cups.
