Ingredients
- 1 pound pork sausage 16 ounces, mild, medium, or hot
- 1 diced tomatoes with mild green chilies 10 ounce can, undrained
- 16 ounces cream cheese room temperature
- hot sauce to taste (Cholula, Frank’s RedHot, Sriracha, etc, of your choice
Instructions
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until evenly browned and no longer pink. Drain if needed.
- Reduce heat to low, and stir in the tomatoes and cream cheese until melted and evenly blended.
- Add hot sauce to taste and cook just until heated through. Serve warm.
Slow cooker instructions:
- Place the cooked sausage, cream cheese, tomatoes, and hot sauce in a small crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until melted and warmed through.
Notes
- Makes about 4 cups.
