Sriracha Aioli Recipe
Description
The aioli combines the base of mayonnaise with 1 to 2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce, depending on desired spice level, along with fresh lime juice and freshly grated garlic. Whisking these ingredients together creates an emulsified sauce that holds a creamy texture while carrying vibrant flavors. The lime juice adds acidity to cut through the richness, while garlic provides an aromatic punch. Seasoning with kosher salt adjusts the overall taste to preference. The recipe suggests starting with less sriracha for a milder sauce and increasing to taste.
This aioli requires no cooking and can be prepared quickly, then refrigerated to meld flavors for up to two weeks. It adds a flavorful layer to boost sandwiches, burgers, roasted vegetables, or acts as a zesty dip for fries and snacks.
This sauce can be made with store-bought mayonnaise for convenience or substituted with homemade mayonnaise if desired for fresher control of ingredients and texture.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise store-bought
- 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha

Instructions
- Add mayo, sriracha, lime juice and garlic to a medium bowl, whisking to combine. Season to taste with salt and more sriracha if needed.
- If you're sensitive to spice, start by just adding 1 tablespoon of sriracha to the sauce, and increase to taste. I like a good amount of spice, so I used the full 2 tablespoons of sriracha in the aioli shown above. Store aioli in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
- You can substitute store-bought mayonnaise with homemade mayonnaise for a fresher aioli.
