Ingredients
- 4 ounces tequila
- 2 ounces orange liqueur
- 10 large strawberries hulled and halved
- Juice of 1 lime
- 3 tablespoons simple sugar syrup
- 4 jalapeño slices
- sea salt for rim
- strawberry slices and lime wedges to garnish (optional)

Instructions
- Add the tequila, orange liqueur, fresh strawberries, lime juice and simple sugar syrup into a blender and blend.
- Use the lime to wet the rim of the glasses and dip into some sea salt to coat the rim.
- Add in some ice and top with the Jalapeno strawberry margarita, mixture and garnish with jalapeno slices, strawberries and lime slices.
Notes
- Use the best ever Sea Salt Flakes for the perfect rim.
- You can use a sugar rim instead of a salt rim if you prefer.
- Remove the seeds from the jalapeño before adding to the cocktail.
- The Jalapeño Margarita recipe is best served cold. If you don’t have enough time to chill it properly, then try freezing it for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Chill your garnishes so that the drink stays cold when you add them in.
- For the orange liqueur, you can use Cointreau or Triple Sec.
- Feel free to use honey instead of sugar syrup.
- Add in a pinch of black pepper or chili flakes.
- Grab hold of a handy citrus juicer, which will help you whip up your cocktail much more easily.
