Instructions
- Place strawberries, tequila, lime juice, agave, and orange liqueur in a blender. Add the desired amount of ice then pulse until smooth.
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of a cocktail glass and dip in salt. Pour margarita into the glass and garnish with a strawberry slice.
Notes
- Always use fresh lime juice as the bottled juices don’t have the same bright citrus flavor and have a slightly bitter aftertaste.
- If you’re throwing a party, scale the recipe up and transfer the drink to a big ice-filled pitcher to keep cool. Stir before pouring
- Feel free to adjust the amount of the ingredients as desired. If you prefer the drink to be stronger, increase the alcohol, or add more honey if you like your drink to be sweeter.
- If you don't have margarita salt, you can make your own by adding lemon or lime zest to salt. Alternatively, add some chile powder to your salt, or use Tajin seasoning to change things up.
- Make it a strawberry margarita on the rocks by pouring the drink over a glass of ice.
