This easy homemade Strawberry Sauce is bursting with fresh strawberry flavor and the perfect balance of sweetness.

Ingredients
- 1 lb strawberries fresh or frozen*
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Wash, hull, and slice strawberries and place into a small saucepan.
- Stir in sugar and water. Heat over medium heat and bring to a simmer.
- Cook strawberries for 10 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour into a blender and blitz until completely smooth.
- Refrigerate until read to use as desired.
Notes
- *You can use frozen strawberries in this recipe as well (1:1 ratio). No need to thaw.
