Strawberry White Hot Chocolate

A recipe for Strawberry White Hot Chocolate! Sweetened strawberries are pureed and combined with milk and white chocolate for a light and warming drink.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups strawberry hulled and sliced, fresh, 200 grams
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar 70 grams
- 3 cups milk 710 milliliters
- 5 ounces white chocolate chips 142 grams
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For serving:
- Whipped Cream or mini marshmallows
- Sprinkles seasonal
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, add the strawberries and cover with the sugar. Toss to coat. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan, place milk over medium-low heat. Once steaming but not yet at a boil, remove from heat and add the white chocolate and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Place the strawberries and sugar in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour through a fine mesh strainer into the white hot chocolate and whisk to combine.
- Serve immediately with whipped cream or marshmallows. If desired, top with a few sprinkles.
