Ingredients
- 4 small 8oz- 10oz mason jars
- 6 cups Everclear
- 1-2 cups sweet tarts candy
Instructions
- Separate sweet tarts by color. Add about 1/3 cup sweet tarts to each mason jar, one color candy per jar. You can add up to 1/2 cup candy if you like an especially flavorful drink.
- Fill each mason jar with Everclear (about 1 cup) and seal the lid.
- Shake each closed and sealed jar vigorously for one minute, then store in a cool dark place.
- Check the jars daily, shaking each for about a minute. Keep stored, shaking 1-2 times per day for about two weeks.
- After 1-2 weeks, remove lids and strain the liquid to remove any candy residue.
- Return to jars — your moonshine is ready to enjoy!
- Since it's pretty potent stuff, you probably won't use it all at once. No worries — you can keep your moonshine sealed in jars in a cool place for up to a month.
