  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee cooled
  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1 pack coffee liqueur (about 20-24)
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder (about 20-24)
  • dark chocolate shavings (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and thick.
  2. In a separate shallow bowl, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
  3. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they’re soaked but not soggy.
  4. Layer the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of your parfait glasses.
  5. Spoon a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers. Repeat the process, creating layers of ladyfingers and cream.
  6. Finish with a final layer of mascarpone cream and dust with cocoa powder.
  7. Garnish with chocolate shavings and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
