Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas rinsed and drained
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons Tahini
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flake
- ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 lemon squeezed

Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, water, cumin, red pepper flake, salt, and fresh lemon juice.
- Process the mixture until it becomes a coarse paste. Scrape down the sides of the processor with a spatula to ensure even blending.
- With the food processor running, gradually add extra virgin olive oil. Continue blending until the hummus becomes smooth and creamy.
- Taste the hummus and adjust the seasoning if needed. Add more salt, lemon juice, or red pepper flakes according to your preference.
- Transfer the Beiruti hummus to a serving bowl. Add a drizzle of olive oil over the top, garnish with red onion, red bell pepper, parsley, and paprika. Serve immediately.
