Traditional German Currywurst Recipe

This Currywurst recipe makes very flavorful and thick sauce for everyone who loves Currywurst. A video how to make Bratwurst in a pan is civered in a separate video on my YouTube channel (please find the link below).

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 onions medium
- 500 ml sieved tomatoes
- 100 ml broth
- 30 g tomato pure
- 1,5 tbsp sugar brown
- 3 tsp paprika powder
- 2 tbsp curry powder* if you don't have one see recipe below
- 1 tsp Worcestersauce
- salt, cayenne pepper
Curry Powder Recipe
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp tumeric
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 pinch cayanne pepper
- 1 pinch black pepper

Instructions
- Chop the onions into small pieces.
- Take a large pan and preheat the oil. As soon as it’s warm fry the onions until translucent.
- Add the chicken broth and sieved tomatoes. Bring it to a boil.
- Season with sugar, paprika and half of the curry powder, worcestersauce and salt. Let it simmer over small heat for 20 minutes.
- Add cayenne pepper if you like spicy!
- Serve warm with the rest of the curry powder on the top of a Bratwurst.
