Tuna Avocado Sushi Cups
Description
This recipe assembles delicate sushi ingredients in crunchy phyllo cups, allowing a handheld bite of tender, raw tuna and creamy avocado. Dicing both tuna and avocado into small uniform pieces ensures an even distribution and smooth mouthfeel without mashing the avocado. The soy sauce and mirin mixture adds a sweet and salty note that complements the fish and balances the richness of avocado.
Black sesame seeds sprinkled on top provide a slight crunch and earthy flavor that contrasts with the softness inside. The use of pre-made phyllo cups simplifies preparation while providing a crisp base that holds the moist filling well.
Tuna Avocado Sushi Cups are ideal for serving as appetizers or party snacks where easy finger food is desired. They combine fresh seafood and fruit textures in a neat, portable presentation without additional cooking or rolling.
