Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 12-16 oz white candy coating Any size from 12-16 oz is fine, you can even use more or less, package; alternatives: vanilla candy coating or almond bark
  • 1 12-16 oz coating melts pink or red; package
  • 1/4-1/2 cup Sprinkles approximately, more or less are fine, Valentine themed
  • 1 cup cookies approximately, more or less is fine, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon imperials candy brand Brach's

Instructions

  1. To make your bark, start by melting your candy coating melts in two separate bowls according to the directions on the packages.
  2. Once melted, place large spoonfuls of melted candy coating onto a baking sheet that has been lined with wax paper or a silicone baking mat. Use all of the candy coating, creating almost a patchwork of candy coating colors.
  3. Using a knife, gently swirl all of the melted candy coating together. You do not want to over mix or the candy coating, but instead gently swirl the knife throughout the candy coating.
  4. Immediately place cookie pieces into candy coating, giving them a gentle push to embed them into the candy coating.
  5. Sprinkle Brach's Cinnamon Imperials and sprinkles over candy coating.
  6. Chill for at least two hours (if pressed for time you can get away with 30 minutes) then break apart by hand or with a knife. Pieces can be large or small, whatever works for your needs.
  7. Store in a cool, dry place.
