VIrgin Cosmopolitan

The Virgin Cosmopolitan is a non-alcoholic cocktail blending unsweetened cranberry juice, orange juice, lime juice, and a hint of orange bitters, topped with sparkling water. This combination creates a refreshing, tangy drink with balanced sweetness and citrus notes. Served chilled in a martini glass, it mimics the flavors of the traditional Cosmopolitan without alcohol.

Description

The Virgin Cosmopolitan mixes cranberry juice and orange juice with lime juice to provide a tart, citrusy flavor. Orange bitters or a small amount of orange extract adds complexity to the drink. A touch of simple syrup is optional to adjust sweetness depending on the cranberry juice used. Shaking the ingredients ensures thorough blending and chill.

Pouring the shaken mixture into a martini glass and topping with sparkling water (or club soda or tonic) adds effervescence and lightness, balancing the concentrated fruit juices. This creates a crisp, lively beverage suitable for a refreshing non-alcoholic alternative in social settings.

Because the recipe calls for unsweetened cranberry juice, the sweetness level can be personalized with simple syrup or sugared alternatives. It can also be served still by omitting the sparkling water, altering texture and calorie content.
