Virgin Mojito Recipe | Refreshing Mojito Mocktail

This Virgin Mojito is a refreshing non-alcoholic mocktail made with muddled basil or mint leaves, lemon slices, sugar, and a pinch of salt. The mixture is combined with lemon juice, crushed ice or ice cubes, and topped with club soda or sparkling water. It offers a bright, citrusy, and lightly sweetened beverage with herbal notes, perfect for a cooling drink without alcohol.

Description

The Virgin Mojito recipe uses fresh basil or mint leaves muddled together with thin lemon slices, sugar, and salt to release their flavors. The level of sweetness can be adjusted from one to two tablespoons of sugar, or alternatively using a sugar substitute for a lower-sugar option. After muddling, the mixture is divided into glasses and lemon juice is added. Crushed ice or ice cubes are included to chill the drink, then it is topped with club soda, sparkling water, or plain cold water and stirred gently. The combination creates a bright, tangy, and lightly sweetened beverage with fresh herbal undertones from the basil or mint. It is served immediately for best freshness and can be enjoyed as a cooling, alcohol-free option on warm days or with meals.

  • 1 pinch salt or add as required
  • 2 cups club soda or sparkling water or cold water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar or add as per taste

  5. Divide the lemon juice and add in each glass.
  6. Add some crushed ice or ice cubes.
