Oysters with an Apple and Red Onion Mignonette

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • salt pinch
  • 2 teaspoon onion red, chopped
  • 2 teaspoon apple chopped; green
  • 12 oysters shucked

Instructions

  1. As soon as you buy the oysters get them home and keep them in the coldest part of the fridge.
  2. Pour the apple cider vinegar into a small bowl and add a pinch of salt. Stir well to dissolve the salt.
  3. Mix the apple and red onion into the vinegar and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the oysters from the fridge. Arrange them on a platter and add a teaspoon of the apple mignonette sauce on each one.
  5. Serve with the remaining dressing in a small dish.
