Watermelon Lemonade

Ingredients
- 4 cups watermelon cubed
- 1½ - 2 cups cold water
- ¾ cup fresh lemon juice (more or less - to taste)
- 2 tbsp sugar more if needed, depending on the sweetness of the melon
- ice
- Lemon wedges
Instructions
- Blend the pieces of watermelon in a blender on high until well pureed.
- Pour the pureed watermelon through a fine-mesh strainer lined with a cheesecloth into a pitcher.
- Gather up the sides of the cheesecloth and squeeze to remove all watermelon juice. Discard excess pulp and cheesecloth.
- Add the water and fresh lemon juice.
- Taste and add sugar as needed depending on the sweetness of the watermelon.
- Pour over ice and serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
- Side Note: To make popsicles, simply pour the well-shaken watermelon lemonade into either popsicle molds or plastic ice pop molds, seal, and freeze. Enjoy!
