Instructions
- Prep your fruits. Peel and slice the kiwi, dice the apple, peel and slice the mandarins, slice the bananas, and seed the pomegranate. Place all the fruit in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the dried cranberries and red grapes to the bowl with the other fruits.
- In a small separate bowl, whisk together the honey and lemon juice. Pour over the fruit in the large bowl.
- Gently toss everything together until the honey-lemon mixture evenly coats the fruit.
- Just before serving, chop up some fresh mint leaves and sprinkle them over the top of the salad.
Notes
- The key to a great fruit salad is using the freshest, ripest ingredients you can find and letting their natural flavors shine through.
- Make sure you cut your fruits into evenly sized pieces. This makes the salad look prettier and ensures that every bite has a nice balance of flavors and textures.
- If you're not a fan of mint, swap it out for another fresh herb like basil or thyme. Or, if you want to add some extra zing, try grating a little fresh ginger or lime zest over the top of the salad just before serving.
- You can substitute agave syrup or maple syrup for the honey.
