Winter Pimm's Cup Recipe

The Winter Pimm's Cup is a festive cocktail blending Pimm's No 1, brandy, vanilla, and maple syrup with ginger beer, garnished with seasonal fruits and herbs like orange, apple, rosemary, cinnamon sticks, and cranberries. This combination creates a spiced, refreshing drink suited for colder months.

Description

The Winter Pimm's Cup combines the classic Pimm's No 1 with brandy, a touch of vanilla, and maple syrup for sweetness and warmth. These ingredients are stirred with ice and then topped with ginger beer or ginger ale to add a fizzy, spicy note. The cocktail is garnished lavishly with slices of orange and apple, fresh rosemary sprigs, cinnamon sticks, and cranberries, which contribute aromatic complexity and a festive appearance.

Served in a highball glass over ice, this drink balances spirit warmth with bright, fruity garnish and effervescent ginger beer, making it suitable for winter gatherings or cozy evenings. The variety of garnishes enhances the sensory experience beyond flavor alone.

The richness of brandy and sweetness of maple syrup differentiate this version from the traditional Pimm's Cup designed for summer, adapting it for colder weather with deeper flavors and complementary spice.
