Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp

Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp is a delicious and easy twist on the restaurant favorite made popular by Bonefish Grill! Jumbo shrimp are breaded and air fried to crispy perfection before being tossed in a sweet and spicy bang bang sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 pound jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup flour or cornstarch
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- olive oil cooking spray I used Pam olive oil spray
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayo or light mayo
- 1/3 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
- 2 Tbsps Sriracha
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry with a paper towel. To a small bowl, add the flour and season with salt & pepper. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
- Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket. Dip each shrimp in the egg and then coat it with the flour. Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray shrimp with cooking spray and air fry at 400ºF for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.
- To Make the Sauce: While the shrimp is air frying, prepare the sauce. In a medium mixing bowl whisk together the mayo, sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha until smooth.
- Remove the shrimp from the basket and toss in the bang bang sauce until fully coated. Garnish with greens or sesame seeds and serve immediately.
