Air Fryer Chicken Breasts

These air fryer chicken breasts are juicy, tender, and so flavorful! This foolproof method produces perfect chicken breast every time. No need to turn on the oven or the grill. These air fried breasts are great for meal prep, leftovers, and a quick easy dinner!

  • 2 chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. First, preheat air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Use a meat mallet to pound the chicken to ½ inch thickness. Trim any fat.
  3. Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Place on a large plate.
  4. Drizzle olive oil on top of each breast. Season all over with garlic powder, paprika, sea salt, pepper, and onion powder.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer.
  6. Air fry for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Lastly, remove chicken from the air fryer. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes. Then, serve!

  • Completely thaw frozen chicken before making this recipe.
  • Feel free to adjust the spices to suit your taste.
  • All air fryers are different.  If needed, add some cooking time.
  • Chicken is done when it has reached 165 degrees Fahrenheit internally.  Use a meat thermometer to measure.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • To reheat, add chicken to the air fryer.  Lightly spray with nonstick spray.  Air fry at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 to 3 minutes, until warm.
