Air Fryer Ninja Foodi Hard-Boiled Eggs

  • 10 eggs (or as many as you would like to make)

Instructions

  1. Place the air fryer basket, trivet, or rack in the cooking pot and place the eggs on top, without stacking them. Set the temperature to 250°F degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 120°C) and time to 16 or 17 minutes, then air fry (see notes).
  2. Once the cooking time is over, use a large kitchen spoon to transfer the eggs to a bowl filled with ice-cold water (or an ice water bath, if you have some ice cubes in your freezer).
  3. Allow the eggs to cool for about 5-10 minutes before peeling. Once cooled, crack the bottom part of the egg using a spoon and peel. Season with some salt and pepper or with your preferred seasonings and serve!

  • Cooking Times 
  • Different types of boiled eggs have different cooking times. Using a temperature of  250°F (approximately 120°C), use the following time guide:-

  • Useful Tips
  • Soft-boiled eggs - 13 minutes.
  • Hard-boiled eggs - 16-17 minutes (the time will depend on how hard you like your boiled eggs).
  • You can also make hard-boiled eggs at a higher temperature of 300°F (approximately 150°C) for 11-12 minutes.
  • The Watts of your air fryer will also have an impact on the cooking time. Most air fryers have 300 watts and require 13-15 minutes to cook hard-boiled eggs.
  • Lay the eggs in a single layer on the rack or air fryer basket without stacking, so they cook evenly.
  • You do not need to preheat the air fryer before cooking.
