Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (6oz/172g) powdered sugar,
- 1 cup (5oz/142g) all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (cornflour)
- 1 1/2 cups (12oz/340g) egg whites (about 12 egg whites)
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar*
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (8oz/225g) sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Notes
- Substitute cream of tartar: For every 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar in the recipe you can use 1 teaspoon lemon juice or white vinegar instead.
