Apple Smoothie Recipe
Description
The smoothie incorporates cored fresh apples and frozen banana as the fruit base, contributing natural sweetness and a creamy texture from the frozen banana. Plain or vanilla yogurt adds thickness and a slight tang, while water adjusts the consistency as needed. Peanut or almond butter introduces a subtle nutty richness that complements the fruit, enhancing the mouthfeel.
Vanilla extract enriches the flavor with gentle sweetness and aromatic warmth, paired with pumpkin pie spice which imparts cinnamon and spice notes reminiscent of fall flavors. Blending all ingredients together creates a smooth, drinkable smoothie suitable for breakfast or a snack.
A sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice on top adds visual appeal and additional spice aroma. Adjusting the amount of water allows customization of thickness according to preference.
