Ingredients
- 1 sheet of Puff Pastry
- flour for rolling
- 1 wheel of brie 8-12 oz
- 1 large egg beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Dust a work surface with the flour and roll out the puff pastry into a 11 inch square. Defrost the puff pastry if it's frozen.
- Place the brie in the center of the puff pastry. Fold the corners to the center of the brie forming a neat package. Use your hands to seal the puff pastry around the brie.
- Place the pastry covered brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the pastry all over with the beaten egg with a pastry brush.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the party is golden brown. Let the brie sit for 10-15 minutes
- Move the cheese to a serving platter. Then serve warm with crackers and fruit and enjoy!
Notes
- Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Reheat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is soft.
