Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- ½ cup strawberry jam
- 1 egg
Glaze
- ¼ cup Powdered sugar, sifted
- ½-1 teaspoon milk

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it in half short-wise. Spread jam all over 1 of the sheets almost to the edges. Add the plain sheet on top of the jam sheet and pinch the edges. Cut into 1-inch strips.
- Twist the strips and place them on the prepared sheet curving one end up top to form a cane.
- Whisk the egg and brush each candy cane with the egg wash.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- While baking, make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk.
- Remove canes from the oven. While still warm, drizzle with glaze or with powdered sugar.

- Prep ahead. Prepare the candy cane puff pastry treat up to 2 hours ahead of time. Cover and store in the refrigerator until you're ready to bake.
- Store. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
